Watch the Webinar – From Fossil to Low Carbon: The Evolution of Global Public Energy Innovation

Climate Policy Lab hosted a webinar, From Fossil to Low Carbon: The Evolution of Global Public Energy Innovation, on Tuesday, September 14 at 8am – 9am ET. Speakers included Kelly Sims Gallagher, Fang Zhang, Rishikesh Bhandary, Easwaran Narassimhan, Zdenka Myslikova, and Ping Huang, who discussed their new publication in WIREs Reviews about global government energy RD&D investments between 2000-2018. Their new research reveals that global public RD&D investments in fossil fuels technologies have decreased in recent years while clean energy has been on the upswing. Given the findings, the researchers hope to answer the question, “Should we be optimistic about global clean energy innovation efforts against climate change?”
